Meshy.

A text- and image-driven 3D asset platform for generating models, with export choices that need to match your game engine and animation workflow.

The output is a 3D asset

Meshy’s documentation describes model generation from text, images, and conversational prompts, with post-processing and export workflows. Its listed formats include GLB, FBX, OBJ, STL, USDZ, and 3MF.

For this directory, Meshy belongs in the adjacent asset category. A model can become part of a game, but it does not supply the game’s rules, controls, interface, or distribution by itself.

Choose an output for the job

The documentation differentiates formats that carry textures from geometry-only output. That makes the intended destination important: a model for a real-time game and one for physical printing have different acceptance criteria.

Before generating a character, decide whether you need animation, what the engine can import, and what size and orientation the scene expects. A static prop can use a simpler evaluation path than a character that must share animations with an existing cast.

What a useful assessment would measure

Inspect the imported asset, not only the web preview. Record material appearance, scale, animation behavior where applicable, file size, and performance in a representative scene. Also record how much cleanup the result needs before it can replace a placeholder.

Those checks are our proposed assessment method. We have not generated, downloaded, or imported a Meshy model during this source review.

Pricing and permissions

Use the live pricing page and applicable terms for the specific account and output. Generation access, downloads, and permissions are separate questions; this profile does not establish that every listed format is available on every plan.

The phrase “game-ready” is a vendor description, not a substitute for testing against your project’s technical requirements.
